What do you feel is best towards reforming America's Healthcare Programs?  And what is your opinion concerning the blast of outrage and anger from many Americans who are against President Barack Obama's Healthcare Reform Bill?

SYNTHIA ESTHER:

This is America, the land of the free and the brave.  As such, we have the right to voice our opinions.  Considered by some of America's news reports as a "Viral Campaign" on the Internet and in town meetings, with hints of planted voice and hidden agenda, I disagree.  There are far too many people, myself included, that simply disagree with President Obama's Healthcare reform.   Where does that leave us who oppose?  Giving voice and opinion with every opportunity given us.  In hopes that our voted upon officials will give heed to concerned Americans.

Is this inoculating mainstream media?  Yes and no.  There will always be people who care, wish to learn and listen, and there will always be people who don't.  Knowledge is power.  American people are able to read the facts, making up their minds for themselves.  To read more about President Obama's Healthcare Reform Bill go here:   Read HR 3372, the Health Care OverUse Reform Act (HealthCOURT Act)

 In 1945, Harry Truman addressed America's healthcare programs.  His stance effected future generations going forward.  The same can be said of the Healthcare reform plans President Obama seeks today.  If we care about our future generations, noting we do not want to commit generational theft, we would be wise to take note, take a stand, and voice our right to opinion as American citizens.  I for one am proud of every American who cares enough to do so.  After all, isn't that what our founding father's and America's fallen heros have died and fought for?  Yes, it is! 

As for my opinion?  I personally agree with Newt Gingrich, CHT Founder (Center For Health Transformation), and his six straightforward steps to better healthcare. What are your views concerning the stimulus package put into law on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009?

SYNTHIA ESTHER:

President Barack Obama signed the stimulus package into law Tuesday, February 17, 2009, and readied a new $50 billion foreclosure rescue for many Americans who are in danger of losing their homes.  I agree with President Obama's statement, "None of this will be easy.  The road to recovery will not be straight.  We will make progress, and there may be some slippage along the way."

I am of the belief that throwing more money at our economic problems is not the answer.  Obama's stimulus package included a 50 million dollar out of work artist fund.  Grab your paint brush's and molding clay is what I say.  All the while Obama ups America's debt to 10.7 trillion dollars, and climbing.  This debt will be placed on the shouldiers of our future generations, with no end in sight that this stimulus plan will work. 

Our leaders in Washington should have let the economy fall, and build up again with the courage and hardwork America was built upon.  Seeking a quick answer to our economy problems is not the answer.  I believe we "will" see a rise in the economy in response to the stimulus bill, only to fall even lower and deeper than we are right now.   Our National debt is increasing.  We can no longer look the other way placing our lack of wisdom and problems in the lap of America's future generations.
